Gourmet (MAP) Gases

Messer’s Gourmet™ gas blends are engineered for modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) of fresh, cooked, and processed meats. These food-grade mixtures of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and nitrogen slow microbial growth, preserve color and texture, and extend shelf life without chemical preservatives. Messer also supplies carbon dioxide for chilling and inerting operations, including dry ice applications for cold chain transport.
