Oxygen Medical Grade USP

Applications include use in clinical practice to provide a basis for anaesthetic techniques as well as pre- and post-operative management. Also used to restore the tissue oxygen tension towards normal by improving oxygen availability in a wide range of conditions.

Nitrogen NF Medical Grade, Compressed

Nitrogen NF is used as a power source for power tools used in surgical procedures. Is it also used as a displacement medium in pharmaceutical vials.

Carbon Dioxide USP Medical Grade, Compressed

Complies with United States Pharmacopoeia (USP). Used to increase depth of anaesthesia rapidly when volatile agents are being administered. Also used for clinical and physiological investigation.

Nitrous Oxide USP Medical Grade

Complies with United States Pharmacopoeia (USP). Applications include the relief of mild to moderate pain, usually in emergency situations, via inhalation with 50% oxygen. Also used in cryosurgery as a refrigerant.

Messer offers a comprehensive range of medical gas mixtures designed to support respiratory therapy, anesthesia, diagnostics, and clinical research. Air Medical Grade

Complies with United States Pharmacopoeia (USP) and National Formulary (NF) requirements. Used as a replacement for atmospheric air when the atmosphere is contaminated by noxious fumes, vapours or gases. Also used in anaesthesia as a carrier gas for volatile anaesthetic agents.

MEOPA USP

MEOPA (Mixture of Equimolar Oxygen and Nitrous Oxide) is a gas mixture used in dentistry for conscious sedation, particularly in children, to reduce anxiety and promote relaxation during procedures.

Carbogen

Carbogen is a specialty gas mixture composed of carbon dioxide and oxygen, commonly used in medical and research applications to stimulate respiration and support controlled breathing studies.

Lung Diffusion Gas Mixtures

Lung Diffusion Gas Mixtures are used in pulmonary function testing to assess how effectively gases are transferred from the lungs into the bloodstream.
